While many physical changes have occurred in the structure of Getaway Merimbula, possibly the largest change has occurred in the transformation of thinking from a real estate company managing a small holiday property portfolio, to embracing the idea that we form a part of the tourism industry and therefore need to cater to those high standards.
Getaway Merimbula remains dedicated to the promotion of excellence in holiday accommodation however we now seek to provide a wider service to the tourist by providing further information about the beautiful part of Australia in which we live. Availability and tariffs can be checked before proceeding to a secure online booking system. The Getaway Merimbula Team works with owners on an individual basis, establishing their needs and tailoring the marketing that will produce the required results. Tariffs are assessed and calculated in consultation with the owners based on the current holiday market value, over six holiday seasons, customising the tariff to fit the appropriate season. We aim to fill as many weeks in the calendar as we can and are constantly seeking innovative ways of marketing and increasing our web traffic such as semi-permanent rental over the slower winter months.
We have worked hard to ensure procedures and processes are in place to protect our owners investment. Our Guests Terms and Condition Form clearly outlines our requirements for guests who stay in your property, implicating respect and care must be taken of the property, this is signed by the guest prior to key collection. Guests are required to provide a cash bond on final payment of each booking and an inspection is conducted on their departure to ensure the property has not been mistreated in any way.
Property management procedures are followed in compliance with the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act and Regulations. We have also adopted the REINSW Best Practice Guidelines - Holiday and Short Term Rentals. GottaGetaway ensures that owners are kept informed of recent changes and that properties comply with current requirements.
